Last week, DEALPRINT was honored to win the SkyDeck Pad-13 Pitch Competition, a showcase of the most promising startups in the UC Berkeley ecosystem.
The event brought together founders across industries, from AI to biotech to sustainability, all united by the goal of building transformative companies. Against such strong competition, our win underscores the momentum behind DEALPRINT’s mission: to redefine how buyers evaluate small and mid-sized business acquisitions.
For too long, due diligence in the SMB market has been fragmented, slow, and prohibitively expensive. Our platform brings Wall Street-level rigor to this overlooked corner of M&A by:

2. Who is Berkeley SkyDeck?
Berkeley SkyDeck is the official startup accelerator of the University of California, Berkeley. SkyDeck offers all the benefits of a traditional accelerator along with the vast resources of the world's number one ranked public university. Formed as a partnership between UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business, the College of Engineering, and the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research, SkyDeck offers a powerful environment for startups to grow and launch. The robust and vibrant ecosystem includes a deep network of advisors, industry partners, and accredited investors.

Berkeley SkyDeck Programs
SkyDeck Accelerator Program
The Accelerator Program is SkyDeck's primary track. Twice a year, SkyDeck selects a small group of high-potential startups from around the world. Each Cohort company receives $200,000 in funding from the Berkeley SkyDeck Fund, intensive support from seasoned advisors, and access to UC Berkeley resources. The six-month program culminates in a global Demo Day, connecting founders to leading venture capitalists and investors.
SkyDeck Pad-13
Pad-13 is designed for earlier-stage startups that may be pre-seed or still refining their product and business model. The program provides structured mentorship, educational workshops, and opportunities to pitch at events such as the Pad-13 Pitch Competition. Many Pad-13 companies grow into Accelerator-ready startups, making it an on-ramp to the flagship accelerator.
